Hey everyone! As I was going through the Youth Money Making Category, I saw some things that need to be given some TLC.:wink:Sorry if I’m ranting, I don’t mean this negatively or anything! From my point of view, here’s what I found could use some improvements::wink:The close but not exact dilemma: Let’s say for example that someone comes along and writes article after article about how to make money. They write How to Make Five Dollars in a Day, then Six Dollars in a Day, then How to Make Seven Dollars a Day, and so on. While these articles would technically not be considered duplicates, the articles would nonetheless be unnecessary, and it would take a lot of time to perfect all of them. There are articles that are like this, while not as nearly as redundant as these examples, our current policy still technically allows these articles. The Save Up For Something Dilemma: There are so many articles along the lines of, ‘How to Save Up For an iPod’ or ‘How to Save Up for a Pet’. There could be a ‘How to Save Up For’… nearly anything in the universe, and its ultimately better to write a single article about saving up money. The Specific Instructions Dilemma: Person A’s perfect plan for making money walking dogs could be different than Person B’s idea. However, that doesn’t stop both Person A and Person B from putting both of their ideas in the tips. Instead of that, (which there is a lot of that), shouldn’t there be non-specific you-must-follow-this-exact plan instructions? What does everybody else think about how we should go about fixing the Money Making category? Thanks in advance!

I tend to disagree on your first point. I think if there were articles on how to make $5, $6, $7, $8, etc. they’d all be marked for merging, and they’d be brought together into one “super article” (rather than a bunch of small useless articles).

Wow, my bad, holy crap this category is a mess. http://www.wikihow.com/Category:Money-Management-for-Young-People
