There are no articles on wikiHow that are very sexual, no nudity or swearing. I suggest that we make a wikiHowXXX.com or something like that.

Is there really a need for a vulgar-focused how-to site?

Something like that could really destroy wikiHow’s brand, and appeals to only a very small segment of users.

I don’t think wiki format would work with that kind of content, I doubt there’d be any quality writers on wikiHowXXX. It would probably just tarnish wikiHow’s name for being associated with it.

No. We don’t need a split, because we’re one community.

@Savas_P You are more than welcome to start an adult wiki how-to site, here’s a good place to start: http://www.wikihow.com/Start-a-Wiki You can’t use the name “wikiHow” because it is trademarked. Good luck:slight_smile:

@WritingEnthusiast14 wikiHow doesn’t allow nudity, swearing or sex here. If we do allow it our website to have R rated content it might get blocked at schools and kids might come across inappropriate articles.

@Krystle Thanks for sharing the link. I don’t know how to code websites, and don’t really want to know. I like wikiHow and want to put my effort into improving wikiHow, not other sites.

If you want the situation to get worse you can continue to give such ideas @Savas_P because almost every users want the site to be clean. There are already some issues with these type of topics. As Krystle said, you can start your own wiki for that.

@RGDhruvParikh , that sounds like a fair idea.

@RGDhruvParikh Thank you! Before sharing the forum I checked with lots of people in favour of the idea. I think having an adult wikiHow would be even more appropriate that the wikiHow we have now because you can ask your parents how to bake a cake, but say kids, wouldn’t be comfortable asking their parents how to eat out a girl?

There are multiple forums on the internet specifically geared towards helping teenagers with basically any sexual topic you can think of. Since your idea appears to be relatively unsupported as a wikiHow-backed project, and you are unwilling to start one yourself, I see this as going nowhere.
