Wondering about everybody’s thoughts on this:
Since wikiHow guides are placed in a number of different spots and since doing a search for these guides often turns up “not found” in a general wikiHow search, can we have either a search tool or a page listing of all the pages found in the wikiHow namespace? Because there are some people who actually need to find these pages, and since they are found in a variety of categories from top-level to the smallest levels of wikiHow top-levels, it’s not exactly easy to find what’s out there in this namespace…But it would have to update at some level.
And because some of these are instead getting demoted by Staff, it’s growing harder to find and read these articles when we knew they were once in our database and if we didn’t remember their exact category, it’s all tricky and getting trickier by the day.

Just an FYI that articles in wH namespace do come up in wikiHow searches now
Then I think all guides in the main namespace are in the WikiHow top category. Would it potentially be easier if we merged all the subcategories and just had the one “WikiHow” category?

It could help, but id think it should be up to more members of the community to decide whether or not they feel the same as i do.

I’m someone who often has to hunt for wH namespace articles so I’d actually agree with having a central listing for these.
Actually I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time now to create Wikipedia-style shortcuts for commonly-used meta pages. The same way typing [[ANB]] redirects to “wikiHow:Administrator Notice Board” - so something like [[WP:CLEANUP]] or [[WP:STUB]] redirects to “wikiHow:Clean Up a wikiHow Article” and “wikiHow:Develop a Stub Into a Better Article” respectively. The goal would be to 1) act as a central location for meta pages like policy or coaching pages, and 2) make it easier to link to these meta pages without the effort of typing the full title, which can be useful when you’re coaching and writing a personalized non-template message. I drafted a forum thread about it, but I don’t want to derail this one here. If anyone is interested in learning more about this idea, let me know!

I found a page that I was looking for, though it took me quite some time to track down the necessary page to gather it. https://www.wikihow.com/Special:AllPages?from=&to=&namespace=4&hideredirects=1
