http://www.wikihow.com/User:Cloie-Nicole-Lozada-Martinez I’ve used the age template, but I just wanted an admin or something to know. In her profile picture, she looks like a five year old or something.

Thanks for your concern. Unless a user explicitly states that he or she is under age, we will not take action. Please read this recent thread which goes into more detail about the policy: http://forums.wikihow.com/discussion/14028/underage-users/ In the future, if you encounter an editor who states that he or she is under 13, please report it on the Administrator Notice Board ( http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Administrator-Notice-Board ) in the “Users Under the Age of 13” section so that it can be looked into and the appropriate action taken.

When I was patrolling I came across an article where an author stated she is 12 years old girl… I posted her profile link to the one of the administrator’s talk message. He said to me he blocked her. Should we always report to ANB or the way I handled it is OK too?

I don’t really know. If messed up apparently; Isorythmic said to report to ANB. Thanks!

@Laura7491 Posting it to the Admin Notice Board is better since it is more likely to get seen by someone who can take action quickly. If an admin is active on the site, they might see your message if you send them a talk page message, but they might not see it right away, or they might go offline. @OoT2D You didn’t mess up, I just wanted you to know about the policy and that it’s better to post to the ANB so it can be handled quickly.

OK. Thanks, @Isorhythmic . No no, @OoT2D you did not mess up… there are different ways to handle it. ANB is the best. That’s all. =)

Oh…thanks @Laura7491 and @Isorythmic !

No problem. =)

@OoT2D Just a friendly reminder: Profile pics are probably not a very good way of determining anyone’s age (or gender, for that matter)…I know some people who routinely use one of their old baby photos for FB pages, etc.

Thanks! @Deniseke
