A user who wasn’t logged in sent a rather insulting message via fanmail of an article I had worked on. (And by “rather insulting,” I mean my profanity filter asterisked-out some some of it.)
Should I be reporting this somewhere? I can laugh off this sort of garbage, but I would hate it if any sensitive or 13-year-old etc. users were to receive messages like that.

The best thing to do is approach an admin and ask for help with this situation, so the admin can determine if any action needs to be taken and go from there.

As a teenager, I can tell you most teenagers won’t be affected by this type message. You can report the IP Address here
. I wouldn’t be worried about it though. It’s probably just some kid wasting his time trying to make others lives miserable for his own sake.
