On my user page, and several others, even users that have been on wikiHow for months, I don’t see any userpage views. But on the userpages of some, I see tens of thousands of views. Is this an error, or have I misunderstood something? Thank you.

Have you checked the ?action=info for page views?  See if that does anything.

I’ve wondered about this too. I know people like to get “traffic” on their users pages. I have often stopped by the user pages of new users purely to get them “off the mark” and move them from zero to 1. It’s easy for me to do and if they are pleased to see that 1 instead of a zero, I am pleased to have pleased them. If they are not bothered, then I have lost nothing. That being said, I’m not sure that my views are always counting. As an experiment, to ensure my visit to the page is counted, I been clicking on edit, then cancelling. I’m not sure if this guarantees my view is counted, but again, no harm done and it might cheer a user to have had the user page viewed. I can’t, unfortunately, recall who I have stopped by and report if my efforts are succeeding…I will keep an eye on this forum post.

Hmm I think this was filed during my maternity leave, but I will double check and give the bug report a nudge. Thanks for the heads-up/reminder!

Aaron pushed out a change to hopefully fix this moving forward! I see some counts have updated today. We’ll be watching the next few days to check whether it keeps updating properly each night, so keep your fingers crossed. Thanks all to your patience on this one - I know it took longer than we’d all hoped but I’m stoked to see it hopefully get rolling again now:slight_smile:
