Recently I was just going through an article to add image to it and I found a little crappy thing in the intro ,Immediately I checked the history and was amazed to see that the vandalism was done almost a year back. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Hack-Need-for-Madness-2&action=history http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Hack-Need-for-Madness-2&diff=8522760&oldid=6870589 Also when I went to the embedded article present in the vandalized article there too I found a 2month old vandalism plus the intro image was not a related image. http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Hack-Need-for-Madness&action=history http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Hack-Need-for-Madness&diff=8522797&oldid=8173810 I don’t know if its a bug or a skipping mistake by patrollers , just making sure that everyone knows about it.

Yeah, it happens.:wink:A lot of times, our patrollers don’t catch that vandalism, OR, they may not catch it because other people edit after the vandalism’s put there, and there it stays until someone takes it out. I sometimes go through random articles to see if there’s any spam or anything I can do to fix the article up. =) Thanks for letting us know about it! June Days

But these were not even edited by anyone else after the vandalism.

I was just giving an example.:wink:June Days

This can happen quite often - it just shows how important it is that patrollers take their time and make sure they’re reviewing each edit carefully:slight_smile:The main thing is that it’s been reverted now - well done for catching it!

@MartynP @June Days Thank you!:slight_smile:

Woah! Good thing your keeping a look-out ;). Just gave you thumbs up on the edit :D.

A month or two ‘ain’t nothing’. I have seen it a year or two out!

Hmm the type of vandalism must have screwed the viewers.btw the vandalism I caught was a year old and the other one a month old.

Thank you !:slight_smile:
