Hey everyone. I am noticing that there is a lot of Vandalism as I am patrolling RC. Especially from the Anonymous users. I think that it’s very unfair for the people who are writing the article and taking time to make it good, just to have other people put in random words or inappropriate things right in the middle of the article that have nothing to do with anything. I wanted to ask if anyone finds vandalism, to please put the link to the person’s user page in this thread so that the admins can take care of this. I have said to some users who have vandalized the articles to please not vandalize other people’s articles and explained to them that the people who have wrote the article worked very hard on it and I sent them the link to the article they vandalized. Thanks.
Thanks for helping us reduce vandalism. However, we already have such a facility where users can report various things to admins, ranging from spammers, vandals to image upload spree user, white list/ blacklist, etc; and that lovely page (or feature) is know as the Administrator Notice Board.( http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Administrator-Notice-Board
) Yes, vandals can be really a pain to deal with; but thankfully, we have some awesome users like most of the admins (and you too!) who work towards reducing as much vandalism as possible. Some articles which can be of help:

Thanks for all the good work.

^ Also, you need to assume good faith. It means that even though you see vandalism, assume the best. Admins are on at all parts of the day, and they block or give fair warnings to users. It’s a wiki, since anyone can edit, we expect trolls and vandals. But we know how to take care of it. =) June Days
