Hello! I found this website casually and I think it’s really useful. After writing some articles on the Italian version, I checked if there was an app on the Play Store. I found it, but after having installed it on my device I realized it’s noway user-friendly and there isn’t a good GUI. Anyway, I have some ideas to make this application better. First of all, you could add the feature to select the language (to make the app accessible also for all the people who don’t know English). Then, it would be cool to have a Windows-Phone-style GUI, like it’s shown in this video bit.ly/1aDQYhd. I hope it’s clear that I appreciate the work of all the people who realized the app. The points I’ve just listed are solidly some tips to improve the app. (btw, sorry for my English … I think you’ve already noticed I’m Italian :P). Bye.

Hey Filipo, Welcome to wikiHow. Thanks for your edits on the Italian wikiHow (I edit the Hindi wikiHow, by the way!).I completely agree with you that wikiHow’s Android app needs an upgrade. I even emailed Jack Herrick (founder of wikiHow) about this (a few weeks ago). The reality though is that we actually don’t get a ton of use on the app. We have huge Android usage on our mobile website, but just a trickle on the app itself. Now I’m sure we would get more if we had a better app. On the other hand, our iOS app has been downloaded over 1 million times (it recently got a big update too!). Given all this, I don’t think that an Android app upgrade is om the wikiHow staff’s priority-list, at the moment. Although, they are working on new features, MediaWiki upgrade, and many other awesome features! Thanks for helping wikiHow! Gaurang Prasad
Oh, I do not really understand this. Actually, I’m new here.
Welcome to wikiHow! Thanks for starting new articles on Italian wikiHow! That’s awesome! We *do* want to improve the Android app. It’s on our list of engineering priorities. We have a ton of other things on that list right now though, so I can’t provide any solid date that we will be able to get it done.
My hunch on our mobile priorities is that after we complete the update on our badly outdated iOS app, we will next move to mobile editing on m.wikiHow.com
which will work on all mobile platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, etc.

The iOS app was properly on Github at one point. If the Android one could be there properly too…
