The automatic welcoming bot welcomes anonymous vandals and thanks them for vandalizing pages on wikiHow… in my name! I hope this can be fixed or I will want to opt out of that function/feature. Thanks.

You can opt out of that feature in your preferences. Click “My Pages” on the right, then “My Preferences,” then “Misc.” Click the box by “Don’t allow my account to welcome new users.”
