Hey wikiPeople! I went into the movies yesterday and was waiting for LeMiz to come on, and suddenly I saw a preview for the movie “Identity Theif” starring Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy and it looks HILARIOUS. Anyway, when I was watching, the man asked, “You get hit by cars all the time. Are you even human?” And the woman answered, “The trick is to just relax your legs. I read it on wikiHow.” Here’s the trailer link if you want to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uO12W35DpsQ . It’s around the second minute, third second. I don’t know about anyone else, but I think we should all have a field trip to the MOVIE THEATRE! Do you guys think this is a good thing or a bad thing?

LOL, someone made a thread about this a couple weeks back :).

@Nedifier really? Whoops…that’s embarrassing. Sorry!

That’s ok LOL, it’s quite a big thing so I’m sure people won’t mind:wink:

Yeah! Take that wikipedia and eHow! Maybe I should stop editing on wikipedia.

I can’t wait for this movie!:slight_smile:

I can’t either. When she says that, in the movie theater I’ll be all like " OMG. OMG. OMG. I GO ON WIKIHOW PEOPLE! I DO! OMG! LOOK IT UP! ITS FANTASTIC! "

My parents couldn’t understand my happiness when I jumped up and down and spilled my popcorn all over the floor when I saw that.

You know what confuses me… We are wikiHow. wikipedia and eHow. … :o wikipedia + eHow = wikiHow OMGGGGGGG

I didn’t know that…

YES IT IS, WIKIHOW SHALL BE VICTORIOUS:smiley:

wikiHow is a spin off of eHow, but eHow is now owned by a separate company, Demand Media. That’s why eHow is often mentioned as a being a competitor. Wikipedia is run by the Wikimedia Foundation and is a non-profit. wikiHow is a for-profit hybrid company that is not affiliated with Wikimedia. Honestly, I try to just focus on doing good work rather than beating Wikipedia or eHow.

Victorious in what? Our mission? What does our mission have to do with eHow or Wikipedia?

No. I was trying to make it dramatic.:expressionless:

Just… No… Just… it was a… Just forget I said anything.

To be fair, Wikipedia has definitely been mentioned in a lot of movies. Also, it’s not a competition.
