Are approving images for articles? Recently a new tool came out. On the right side there is a button where you can show a picture of how your creation came out. Are we approving those images? #mindisconfused

These images go through Picture Patrol, and if enough people vote that they’re helpful, they get added in a neat slideshow to the right of the article. Check out this example: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Melted-Crayon-Art I think it’s really fun to see the end results when folks have used the article and produced something awesome:slight_smile:

I’m afraid users are getting confused. When you do a picture it asks, “Do you think this image is right for this article?” I once showed my creation and it never appeared.

P.S Those pics are pretty!

@Anna Thank you, that information is really useful and thank you @WikihowSaver for bringing up that question!

http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Melted-Crayon-Canvas http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Melted-Crayon-Art I like them both.

Of course!

They are pretty:smiley:

@WikihowSaver Hey you have received the answer to your question. I wanted to add my experience. While picture patrolling I saw many good images, but those published article have articles in a certain scheme, they are either created with computer graphics or are real life images. Even if I found a good image, I had to say NO in picture patrol because it didnt go with the other images, also because of difference in color, lighting, picture size and all these visual details. Just wanted to share my experience:slight_smile:
