I was showing my little sister something on my wikiHow account today because she is interested in what I do on wikiHow (even thought she is eight but understands she cannot have account), andI went on the homepage. I saw one of the Featured Articles “How to Come Out as a Gay or Lesbian” (or something like that) andI turned of my computer immediately. Why? Because I did not want my sister seeing the photo that was shown for the picture. No, not the two men kissing, I was fine with that, but I just came on wikiHow and saw a COMPLETELY different photo for the article. You will see what I mean when you take a look at the home page. The photo didn’t bother me much, I was just worried about what my sister saw. So when my sister left, I searched that article and couldn’t find the picture in the article. Why did it show up like that if the picture isn’t in the article, and can it be removed?

Oh whoa. That is really bad. I’ll look into have that fixed ASAP.

Should be fixed now, thanks to @bsteudel !

@Livelifenails That was unfortunately due to this edit: http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Come-Out-As-Gay-or-Lesbian&diff=7655063&oldid=7653886 The edit has since been reverted, image deleted, and things are back to normal. There’s always a little caching delay with the images on the homepage (that are pulled from the intro of the article, in cases where they have an intro image); thankfully vandals rarely capitalize on it. Thanks to @Krystle and @bsteudel for the expedited fix.

What exactly WAS the photo of? I missed it.

^ Well, obviously the photo was deleted, so it must have been against the image policy.

I don’t really want to say. Anyone else want to explain?

I didn’t see it, but I imagine it was deleted for the first reason listed here: http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Image-Deletion-Policy#Objectionable\_Images

Stick figures having sex, with a link to a webcam sex party website.

I was gonna ask what the pic was, but, like IZ said, it was deleted… Sorry your sis had to see that though!:open_mouth:June Days

Here it is!

Closing discussion as image is deleted and removed and nothing more needs to be said.
