What Made You Pick Your Username?
The title says it all.
I chose my username when I was planning to actually make it silly and put Honestly_hurry.up12
But then I stopped, because I knew I wouldn’t like it later. So I simply changed it to Honesty12. Plus, I like honesty (as a quality), and twelve was my lucky year.

I had forgotten the reasoning entirely until I clicked on the linked thread and found my “explanation” from November 2017.
I love staying up until Midnight, and then I randomly remembered one of my best dreams ever.
I think it’s left me more mystified than before.

My username is based off of the USB series from SanDisk (First of all I own it and I also like technology) that is called ‘Cruzer Blade’
I just removed the space and changed Cruzer to Computer since I felt like that’s what is suitable for me…

I got “Fearless” from one of my favorite books in the world, the book is called “Fearless”, and “14” because it was taken by itself, and “14” is my lucky number.

To put it simply, I do not remember. I think I just thought it sounded nice, but what exactly “WikiBoat”/“wikiBoat” (which capitalization is correct? again, I’m not sure…) means has escaped me. Since then, I’ve occasionally have the urge to change it up. Nothing better has come to mind though, for I have about the creativity of… (desperately racking my brain for a good example) a sentient eggshell (I failed to think of anything). I know there’s a better username out there, but I’ll probably never find it, and WikiBoat works just fine

My reasoning is kind of dark/deep lol, but I chose the user name Maddie?Areyouthere? 1) because Maddie is the name I like to go by and 2) The “Areyouthere?” part refers to some “severe mental health problems” I’m still recovering from.

Since someone revived this thread, I’ll say why I chose “Iris8989”.
The reasoning’s pretty simple:
5 years ago, I went onto wikiHow underage with the name “Iris8989”. I think I went on there for help on a science fair project (mine was about how to keep bananas fresh for a long time). Then, a few months later, I clicked on some random articles on the homepage, which looked really different in 2019
than it does now.
“Iris” is a name I use a lot on the internet when I’m signing up for websites/applications. It starts with “I”, like my actual name (not revealing that due to privacy issues, plus I’m not a legal adult yet).
The “8989” is because I chose two random numbers (this case, 8 and 9) to repeat. Since they repeat in that pattern, it’s easy to remember, and catchy too! If you say “8989” in Chinese, it kinda sounds like a song!

The anatomical term for your cheekbone is called the zygomatic bone. Combined with my real name Matt to make a play on words = zygomatt. I work in healthcare and one of my favourite courses in school was anatomy & physiology.
My old username from many years ago used to be Illneedasaviour (I’ll need a saviour), taken from a lyric from this song Saviour by Lights

I used some random username generator, and typed in my favorite food and animal (and some other stuff like favorite color and so on but I never ended up using those names), and picked a name that sounded like something I wouldn’t hate 5 years later. 1122 was random, but I was 12 and thought it was cool.

Oh idk where I got my name… I remember it by watching anime, kinda like Sailor Moon and Yandere, but that is really it, it could have been Miss Sailor Moon but due to copyright issues, I had to rethink it and I came up with Miss Yandere Moon (Imagine Sailor Moon as a Yandere! Wow) And there is also a dark side to my nickname, I have ehem… mental issues (can’t mention them because of privacy issues). And so that is how I came up with Miss Yandere Moon but without the spaces

Ik I’m kinda late to this but I chose Lia_Slays because my name is Lia and I think I slay!! But my old username was I Talk Way Too Much, and that is kind of self explanatory.
