Ok, last week was time for us all to be thankful… Since I didn’t get a chance to compile Community Achievements in the way we usually celebrate them, this week I’m going to see if I can get you to brag, instead :D

It doesn’t have to be something from this week, but what are you proud of - big or small - on the wiki lately? Maybe you finally finished an inuse you’ve wanted to work on for ages, or maybe you caught some sneaky vandalism that was lost in an edit history, or maybe you helped a newbie out so their input could stay on an article… Or maybe you just signed in and checked up on things after a long time of not being able to!

What are you proud of getting done lately?

First one to share an achievement that made them proud or put a smile on their face gets to claim this:

Jk, because I’ll be here celebrating you too, so it’ll be more like:

I’m proud of myself! I’ve only been a member for a short time, but I’ve been able to help out an amazing community! I started my first article, How to Clean a Menorah ! I’ve patrolled quite a few articles, as well. Thank you so much for all your support and help as I’ve found my way!

@Oddyasheck Yes, that’s awesome - you’ve started out strong with patrolling, and getting the ball rolling on a new article that will grow through collaboration over time is fab.

High five for being the first on this thread, too:wink:

I’m proud of starting wikiGnoming a bit ago (double redirect fixing and broken image fixing). It’s helped me learn a bit more about how the wikiText works.

I am proud of the new article I created.

Although it still needs work, I have started it pretty good! I also am proud of my patrolling skills, which over time have improved. I thought they would always be terrible but apparently not!!

I recently removed all of the {{inuse}} tags that were leftover from the college projects.

I finally got the hang of using Patrol Recent Changes!

@TheArtsPerson and @R2_d2000 Yes, wikiGnomes and wiki wizards! There were so many of those college topics, too…! @Ruah - nice, always good to be proud of a work in progress that’s coming along nicely! @ZabaJabaRabbit Welcome! You hit the ground running here:slight_smile:

I’m not as active, but I’m making it a goal to do at least a little wikiHowing a day. Can I be proud of that lol

I patrolled 2,000 edits today! I feel accomplished.

Nice!

That’s great! I can’t wait until I can patrol more! Since I’m new, there’s a limit for the first month. It’s okay, though, because it gives me time to edit articles and such.

@Oddyasheck He means he reached that milestone today, rather than doing that many in a day, heh - slow and steady does the trick, for us all:smiley:

@SunnySideUpSmile YES! You can. Bragging rights! But that’s really my point - To celebrate the personal accomplishments and mini-missions that make us smile. Actually, you do a lot more than you give yourself credit for… but whatever edit you (or anyone) does, if it makes you happy or proud or gives you a feeling of achievement, then we’re cheering you:

I’m proud of logging on here after much infrequent usage and replying to all my talk page messages here, ha.

Overall, I always feel a bit of pride when I see a nice green thumbs up rating on one of my articles or answered questions. Makes me feel good when I am able to help someone out there in the world!

More recently, as in 2 minutes ago, I realized we are lacking in articles in the Witcher games category, which is a category that I don’t think exists (yet). Considering the latest installment is rated as one of the greatest games of all time, I hope to make that category become a thing. In short, I am proud of noticing something ;)

I’m proud of helping to answer other people’s questions. I also am proud of the edit In a Roblox article thanks to Anna. I’m happy to see people making better advancements than me because then I can learn what I can improve on other articles. I am fully proud of this Wiki community. The first Wiki Article I read was about plants. This place has grown and improved vastly. I thank all the admins, boosters, and my welcomer and other Wiki friends for helping me out with this journey. I could never have made it this far. I really want to thank @Anna and @Eric for telling me what is right from what is wrong. I also thank every wiki Friend for giving me advice. I also want to thank every WikiHower for making this a trustable, safe, website.

+1:smiley:

I am not particularly proud of any work as such. But I wanted to participate in this fun conversation. It is inspiring to know how R2 has tackled all the remaining student articles and how the fellow editors are growing and making awesome contributions.:slight_smile:I am proud of my regular edits.

I’ve been making a lot of small edits/copyedits, (I dont know how many!) so +? for me!

Ooh! Which Roblox article was it?
