Since it was Thanksgiving last week, we don’t have a compilation of Community Achievements for the week. So instead, let’s see if you can help create an achievements thread!

Is there something on wikiHow that you did recently that you’re proud of? I’d love to see a collection of different things - did you revert some spam, do a bold edit, tweak some grammatical errors, helped out someone new? Let us know below - this is your official permission to do some polite bragging:smiley:

And if you saw someone else do something helpful, feel free to tag them and let everyone know!

Then you can have one of these!

Don’t mind if I do hehe =)

I’m proud of my edits, and my article fixings. I think I’ve done a good amount of things to help wikiHow, and I’m not the only who has, either.

Also thx for the medal:stuck_out_tongue:

Although i didnt do as much as i would have hoped, i finished off an article i had officially started in august that - due to some lagging malware - was keeping me from finishing. The lagging malware still exists because i cant seem to get my Windows Update to turn on and update my system.

I also ended up helping answer some questions from features i cant promote as stuff i would use myself on wikiHow - as my welcomebot user name was given throughout several days of welcome bot signup messages. I passed it on to staff, but was encouraged by them telling me my message to them was really good.

Got two articles completed! One published, one currently in review for other boosters.

(and obviously, my patrolling was also a good achievement for last week since it protected the wiki, too)

Thank you again @HelperOnWikihow ! I had always thought that getting a rising star was impossible until now:stuck_out_tongue:. Haha, well have fun @JayneG (and do definitely let me know if any issues come up:wink:)!

Got another RS (credits to @Buterflie !) and started another article today, which is almost done (I’ll probably be removing the inuse tag in an hour-ish). I’ll finally be a featured author if it gets RSed!

Congrats to @Buterflie for 3000 edits (and almost being at 10,000 edits patrolled), and to @Sandamali-Fdo for getting two rising stars (not exactly in the past week, but…). Hmm, and a thank-you to @ICanGuessItLol for being an amazing patroller and reverting vandalism in seconds (when it would take me literal minutes, lol).

EDIT: Just removed the inuse tag. Fingers crossed!:crossed_fingers:

The main things that I did last week were patrolling, and helping to reduce a large number of articles that were in the NFD Guardian!

It’s perfectly okay to share something you’re proud of recently — it won’t detract from the spirit of the post. Let’s try to remain positive and supportive of our fellow community members and their efforts.

I became featured author! TY @XxVxX .

Alright, that’s enough bragging now:grin:.

I haven’t “spammed” anyones account. If you know me I have had many wikihow accounts. I have either talked to much or curse people out. I have not done that! I’ve been with this account for 8 months! I have made a article and helped out on the dashboard!

Hi everyone,

I helped and enjoyed collaborating with new editors. It’s really great fun to help new joiners. I also had my first ever featured article on emotional health. It’s such an honor and an excellent topic to be featured. Thanks everyone for helping make all of this the way it has.

I really like the way the community is coming together to make the articles gender neutral where it can be and should be like be a postman, and such titles. Kudos to those who are working and will be working on it.

Thanks for the medal Jayne. Please have one for editing the article on making hairstyle attractive over the weekend.:writing_hand:t3:

Wow!! This is a new, fun type of Community Achievements – maybe we should always have this type of polite bragging?

Congrats, everyone! Keep up the great work!:clap::clap:I’ve come across plenty of achievements of this wikiCommunity, but it’s just too many for me to list, so I’ll just congratulate everyone. Grab your medals, everyone!:1st_place_medal:

So I started How to Understand the Human Skeletal System , which got an RS and made me a Featured Author! And I’ve become an NFD Guardian recently so I just did a bit of NFD Guarding. And as usual some patrolling, boosting, welcome and other Community Dashboard stuff. Also maybe I spent some time answering questions on articles last week. Maybe I also reached out to Help Team questions?

And thanks for the mention, @FlowerPower555 !
