It is belived that in ancient times ,Lord Ram King of Ayodhya, his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana returned to Ayodhya after a 14 years exile.They had fought a war in which he killed the demon king Ravana.The people of Ayodhya lit diyas or oil lamps in rows.As this moment is describe as win over darkenss,from this special moment a Harvest and Lightning Festival Came Into existence Known as “Diwali”.
