Hello everyone I’m sans and no I’m not gonna randomly ask you to be my friend but what I am going to ask is why do chats get closed?

Hey Unknown skeleton! Discussions that you contribute to tend to be closed and/or deleted because you either post to very old threads or you start threads and then reply to yourself over and over. Could you please not do that? You’ve been asked nicely not to do this before.
I understand that mistakes happen. Here’s some tips that’ll garner some more friends for you on the forums:
- Contribute to discussions that are already going, not to ones that have not been posted to for 2+ weeks. If you’d like to revive a topic, I’d suggest starting a new topic.
- Post only relevant discussion to the topic. Posting about off-topic stuff to a thread is frowned upon here.
- Participate nicely in one of the newer forum games at the very bottom of the forum listing.
- Try not to double-post. If you must add more to your post later, use the edit button.
- Be patient! When you make a post or a new thread, wait patiently for replies. wikiHow isn’t a chatting website, so people do not check this area of the website frequently. Take some time to think about what you’re going to say, make a post, come back tomorrow to see what’s been said.
