I think that we should have an actual wikiHow app. I know, I know, we already have the Love Survival App and The DIY Survival App (both of which I have), But I was thinking we need an app where you can just tap it and it will take you to the wikiHow home screen. What do you think?
@Metsguy234
For the first one, I mean for the iPhone or iPad, or iTouch. And the second one isn’t even what I described.
There’s an easy way to do this in Safari on iOS devices. Just go to wikiHow, tap the bookmark icon, and then select “Add to home screen”.
@Chris+H, just send them to my article How to Add a Website Shortcut to Home Screen on iPhone
, when describing the process. Yes @Livelifenails
. It does work for wikiHow too.
Bump! Sorry, I have just been thinking about how we could do this. I was thinking about an app that can take you to the wikiHow home page.
Well, since the article hasn’t been closed, how else could I state my idea on my own thread
? Create a new one? And I don’ t think you should be talking choc, with the countless threads you have bumped.

Any Internet browser can do this. Where would it go from there?
I know that, but I was thinking an app where you just click it and it looks exactly how wikiHow looks on your computer, except (maybe) without Wifi!
Out of curiosity- what would you use this app for? Reading articles, responding to talk page messages, or editing? I would imagine editing being hard to do on your IPhone or IPod touch, I don’t know about an IPad.
I use my iPad for wikiHow, but it is tiring to type it into google every time. And I think that even thought it would be a little hard, it would be a great improvement!

Why not create a bookmark to the main page?
I’ve tried that, but wikiHow will just crash whenever I try.
Apple: Just Works. (Unless you’re trying to do something really tricky like visit a website
, in which case it’ll crash.)

Try doing a hard reset on your iPad. I have wikiHow bookmarked on the home screen of my iPad but never had a crash - it could just need a reset, or you might be trying to open the site out of Wi-Fi or cellular network range.
I edit and the such on my iPad without an app, just go to regular wikiHow in Safari.
