Just a suggestion:

I thought it would be cool to have a little wikiHow blog for visitors and stuff. Seeing what’s new, what the community buzz is, and that type of stuff. I know we have the forums for that, but I thought that having a blog would give anons and visitors something to look at, since there’s no forums button on the website if you’re not logged in.

What are your thoughts?

Just a note: Anons can see the forums, they just can’t make comments like registered users can:slight_smile:

Disagree, that is what the forums are for. Sorry and +1 to @Adelaide

@Darkfrost I think you already started a thread about it a few months ago and people already provided their opinions? http://forums.wikihow.com/discussion/14974/wikihow-blog#latest

Yes, can this be closed?

Done! If any other admins disagree, feel free to reopen.

To summarize the previous thread on this topic:

  • There was some interest among other editors regarding a wikiHow blog.
  • If you want to start one, you are free to do so on a third-party site like Blogger or Wordpress, but not on wikiHow itself.
  • Make sure the blog states that it is “unofficial” and is not affiliated with wikiHow in any official way.
