Hello,

I’ve been curious about this and can’t find the answer anywhere…where do all the pictures seen in wikihow articles come from? It seems like it’s some kind of generator where you can create whatever scenario you want, am I wrong? Or are there people on wikihow who design those images after an article is submitted?

Thanks for your answer!

There is a team of people (WikiVisual) who work on designing those pictures after you request a picture that you want.

Our team!

All new articles get automatically added to wikiVisual’s list for articles that need images. WikiVisual illustrates most of the articles on the site.

It is possible for users to upload their own images for articles too. I know how to draw, and I illustrate most of my own articles, then notify wikiVisual so they can remove it from their list.

If you write an article, wikiVisual will most likely create images for you when the team can.

When I put a picture for my User they deleted it because it was me with my shirt off

If this is the office, I’ve never seen a cooler looking office.
