I just looked at a one of my articles using wikiTables, including https://www.wikihow.com/Insert-WikiTables-on-wikiHow , and it does not render properly. The caption is supposed to be on a white background, but it is surrounded by a gray box. It is also happening on a new article I wrote https://www.wikihow.com/Email-a-Phone-Number . Can this gray be fixed?

(PS I think it would be good to style wikiTables with wikiHow colors as well, with alternation between light and dark green.)

Interesting! I have filed for an engineer to take a look.

The issue seems to still have not been fixed.

On How to Make Free Phone Calls - wikiHow

Get rid of that ugly background and then it will be all fine and dandy.

It has not. It looks like eng found a fix for it, but just hasn’t quite found the time to put it live, so I sent a little reminder. Hopefully should be updated soon - lucky it doesn’t affect the functionality:slight_smile:

Styling is important. The last thing we want is that readers see this ugly gray box on every single WikiTable. And maybe WikiTable formatting can be fixed so we can use them in templates as well ahaha.

Or here is a simple solution: Just install vanilla MediaWiki:joy:

Nah, just kidding. I like how you look.
