I have launched a new project called wikiTutor ( http://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Wikitutor
), and it is different from the Mentoring team. The mentoring team is for new users who need a mentor to learn various things about wikiHow, while the wikiTutor team is for anyone who needs a tutor on English grammar. It’s kind of like the Copyedit Team to the Cleanup Team. So become a wikiTutor today or sign up to be tutored!
I don’t think this is necessary at all… If people on wikiHow need an english tutor, I’m pretty sure they can find help elsewhere on the internet or they can look for help from professionals. Also, I don’t think it should be the job of wikiHow to teach people English other than in the articles about the English language. Sure, you can help people with their English, but we don’t need a group for it.
It can’t hurt. Even if it is only for the occasional question on grammar, it is a resource.
I think this is a great idea! It can somewhat replace the wikiHow writing coach.
I’m with both of y’all. Neat idea, @WikiRicardo
!
I like the idea! Like Connor said, now that the wikiHow Writing Coach is gone, it’s nice to have a little assistance with grammar. Now obviously we’re all humans, and you know I love my fellow wikiHowians, but I do see some commonly made grammatical errors here on the site.
@Rangers31
, I don’t see the harm. If it’ll help people to write high-quality material for wikiHow, I think it’s conducive to the site’s goal.
I like the idea. I think a tutor can be of great help to many new people.
I’d like to see a template for authors who write articles that show a lack of understanding of basic rules of punctuation, spelling, etc.
Please consider changing the colors on the UIB to make it more readable. Perhaps switch the colors.
Sweet idea! This can really help people who are struggling abit with English grammar.
Thanks, I agreed so I changed them.
Okay, I guess I changed my mind here- It’s not a bad idea.
Good idea! There are some great editors/writers on wikiHow who just need some help with their grammar.
@Davjohn
, I finished it: http://m.wikihow.com/Template:Tutor-Referer
. What do you think? Feel free to edit it.

WikiRicardo, could you please change the colours to something a bit neutral and easy on the eyes?
@Maluniu
, Are these colors fine?
I like the wikitutor idea. And I like those colors.
