Ever write an article and not write another one for a long period of time?

I get this feeling when I am writing my novel:stuck_out_tongue:I have plans and all but sometimes something does not go to plan and I have to think of something else to fit in the story:smiley:New ideas are always coming but sometimes it takes a while for one to appear

Check a list of suggested topics. We have about 40,000 unwritten topics.

That’s what I’m trying to get you to understand. I always lock midway into writing an article, so browsing the unwritten topics would be pointless at the time

My first year on wikiHow, I had a major case of writer’s block. I was so frustrated that I quit using wikiHow for a couple months. But, I couldn’t stay away. You would not believe how many times I thought, “This will be my last article,” because I was always running out of ideas. Most of the time, it just comes to me. I never plan about what I’m going to write until I write it. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten writer’s block in the middle of an article, so I might be fortunate in that sense (my sympathy towards you). The best I can offer is wait it out. Whenever I get writer’s block, I just sit and allow it to pass.

I always seem to stop right in the middle of what I’m doing that directly involves me and not do anything. I do this when I write music, it’s a very strange feeling
