Younger people should get more reconized. I mean, I just made the age requrirment, and 402 people already looked at an article I wrote yesterday! Not only am I reffering to me, but all the other young recruits and writers! We NEED to be reconized!

If 402 people have already looked at an article you created just yesterday, then I would say that you are already getting appropriate recognition, regardless of your age.
Huh? Oh, well, I think we aren’t supposed to reveal our ages. Oh, and that article was written a few weeks ago…

The “age requirement” has nothing to do with wikiHow. It is a United States law, requiring children to be 13 or older to be on a website that personal information (such as birthdate, email address, etc) are required to be presented. On the lines of “being recognized”, congrats… I do encourage “young writers”, such as yourself. I don’t and never would encourage “young er” writers to jump on wikiHow to write - as there are many child-friendly websites out there that encourage kids to write.
The reason younger people are “under-recognized” is that they tend to be immature and irresponsible. I, being on the younger side of the spectrum, feel that I should wait until I acquire more knowledge (and especially wisdom) before I do anything too important. We can’t have people writing our articles as if they were texting…and there are far too many spelling errors in the beginning of this discussion than I’d care to count (I’d hate to see that in an article). The point is, we must value our editors based on their reliability and efforts than give favor to those who merely ask for it. I can’t wait to get back into editing…but I have to make sure I’m doing it right first.
