What should I eat?
I'm trying to make sure to eat healthy while also getting some carbs in with a balanced meal. Some meals i've already eaten are:
1. Baked fish, rice, scrambled eggs
2. Rice, corn, fish
3. pasta with teriyaki sauce, oranges on the side
I feel like I have good things but I just don't want to eat the same combination or mix the wrong foods together like pasta and oranges, really?
Can you help me decide what to eat?

Breakfast:
- Bell pepper eggs: Just slice a pepper into rings, sauté the rings for a few minutes on each side, then crack an egg into each ring and let them cook for another 5–10 minutes. Eggs are high in protein, and bell peppers are a tasty complex carb—meaning they’re digested more slowly than simple carbs, giving you more energy for longer.
- Greek yogurt with berries: Blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries are all delicious complex carbs that are high in antioxidants!
- Oatmeal and nuts: Walnuts or almonds will keep you full for a while, and oatmeal is rich in fiber and complex carbohydrates. Add some cinnamon or honey for extra flavor.
Lunch:
- Quinoa-cucumber salad with chickpeas: Both quinoa and chickpeas are great sources of fiber and complex carbohydrates, and cucumbers aid in hydration and bone health.
- Avocado salad: Slice up a cucumber, dice a small red onion, slice an avocado (a great source of complex carbohydrates!) into bite-sized pieces, add a cup of grape tomatoes, and dress with red wine vinaigrette.
- Egg white frittata: Eggs are high in protein (and delish!). Add veggies like spinach, broccoli, or zucchini to your frittata to boost your complex carb intake, and include some feta cheese for a salty, low-calorie flavor.
Snacks:
- Apples and almond butter: Delicious, and a great source of both fiber and protein.
- Berries and low-fat whipped cream: Berries are high in antioxidants and fiber, while low-fat whipped cream is a tasty sweet treat with fewer calories and less fat than other dessert options.
- Salted popcorn: Popcorn is delicious even with no butter or oil—and it makes a perfect low-calorie snack!
Dinner:
- Turkey meatballs with zoodles: Turkey is high in protein but low in fat, and zoodles (zucchini noodles) are a tasty, complex carb alternative to pasta. Top with parmesan and marinara sauce!
- Baked sweet potatoes with feta and avocado: Sweet potatoes are filling and fibrous complex carbs, and they’re delicious when topped with fiber-rich, fatty avocado and low-calorie feta.
- Minestrone soup: This low-calorie veggie soup is tasty and a great way to add complex carb-rich legumes and starchy veggies to your diet.
Thank you so much! I have all of these things in my house. Very easy things to buy.
