Claudia Carnation Claudia Carnation was born Claudia Jones, a scrawny, plain-looking girl with meek parents. She always blended in wherever she went. She never spoke up in class, even though she knew all of the answers, and she always thought she would be the ugly duckling, never able to find true love. During high school, Claudia began to grow more and more beautiful, getting the attention of everyone in school. Still shy, she didn’t know how to act in this new body. She met the man of her dreams, a florist named Vincent Moore, while attending college. He was perfect in every way, and she grew to love flowers just as much as he did. She had no idea that being a florist was a cover for him, until one dark, rainy night, when she witnessed his murder by a hired killer. She ran away, fearing for her life, and couldn’t even bring herself to attend his funeral. She learned that her fiance had an evil plan to rid the city of its officials so he would take over. She didn’t care that the love of her life had an evil streak and vowed to become brave enough to take over his plan. Ultimately, she decided she would kill those responsible for his death. She wears a carnation in her hair and took over Vincent’s flower business, taking on the “Claudia Carnation” persona as well. She doesn’t have any real friends and has no intention of dating anyone because she is scared of getting too close to anyone again. When she is in her garden or greenhouse, she speaks to the flowers as if she is speaking to Vincent. She misses him every second of the day. There is no question in her mind that she will find his murderers and find justice.
