  1. Ed Beery, an automotive specialist, says that “signs of suspension problems include clunking sounds when hitting holes or speed bumps.” He says other symptoms include your “vehicle bouncing after hitting bumps or holes, pulling to one side, or sitting unevenly to the ground.”
