If you're tired of Siri listening in or responding to your voice, you can easily turn the feature off. This process can be done on all Apple devices that are Siri-enabled. Here's how to completely disable Siri on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
Turning Off Siri Completely
To disable Siri on your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap Siri & Search . Toggle off Listen for "Hey Siri" and Press Side Button for Siri . To turn Siri off on a Mac, open System Settings > Siri & Spotlight > turn off Ask Siri .

Tap "Listen for" and select Off . This prevents Siri from responding to this command.

Toggle off "Press Side Button for Siri". This prevents Siri from activating from a physical button.
- When both of these options are disabled, Siri is fully disabled.

Open the Settings app on your Apple Watch. You can also use the Watch app on your connected iPhone or iPad.

Tap Siri . This is towards the top of the menu.

Tap Turn Off Siri . When the previous options are disabled, this prompt will appear. Siri is now disabled.

Connect your AirPods to your iPhone or iPad. This is how you'll customize the AirPod's actions.

Open the Settings app. This is the grey cog icon.

Tap your AirPods. You'll see them listed near the top of the page. If you don't see it, tap Bluetooth , and then select the i next to your AirPods.
