When I clean my computer screen, I always use a microfiber cloth so I don't leave any dust behind. All I do is get the corner of the cloth a little bit wet and start wiping the screen with a circular motion. Then, I flip it over to the dry side and clean off the water and dirt on the monitor screen. It's just that easy!

My biggest recommendation is NEVER spraying a cleaner directly on your monitor. All the liquid and chemicals in cleaners could damage the screen, and that's the last thing you want.
I agree with the person above, just water (distilled is better than tap) and a microfiber cloth will do the trick.

I get these specialty wet wipes that are made to use on electronics and computers when my screens is starting to look nasty. They already have a computer-safe cleaner on them, so open them up and wipe the marks off your screen. Just be careful not to scrub too hard because you could scratch the screen.

I'd start by using a dry lint-free cloth to get rid of all the dust that's on the surface of your laptop. After that, then I'd switch to a damp cloth to clean off fingerprints and smudges.
One pro tip I'd recommend is using distilled water instead of the water right from your faucet. Distilled water has additives removed so you're less likely to leave streaks behind.
