Nobody wants dark spots anywhere on their body, especially their face. Usually, dark spots are caused by exposure to the sun, a condition known as hyperpigmentation. But sometimes, especially during pregnancy, hormones can cause darkened spots or patches to form on your skin, which is called melasma. Acne and scarring can also leave behind dark spots that stick around long after your pimples, scrapes, or cuts go away. The good news is that most dark spots will fade on their own. But there are a few products and treatments you can use to help them fade even faster.
