  1. Apply eyeshadow primer all over your lids. Makeup artist Nini Efia Yang always suggests applying eyeshadow primer onto your lids before you put on eyeshadow or eyeliner. She says this acts as a base for your makeup, helping it to stick better and prevent it from fading throughout the day. [3]
