Do you want to remove yourself from a WhatsApp group chat? You can now leave group conversations without notifying other members (aside from the admins). Here's how to leave a group chat on WhatsApp using your iPhone, iPad, Android, or computer.
Quick Steps
- Tap Chats .
- Tap a group chat.
- Tap the group name.
- Tap Exit Group at the very bottom.
Steps

Open WhatsApp and tap Chats . On Android, this is at the top. On iOS, this is at the bottom.- If you aren't already logged in, enter your email address or phone number and password to do so now.
- You can leave a group on WhatsApp without anyone (except for the admin) knowing.

Tap the group chat you want to leave. You'll see a list of recent messages from newest to oldest.Advertisement -
Tap the group name. This is at the top. -
Scroll down and tap Exit Group . This is in red at the bottom of the screen.- Group members can still check the group details for current members, but they won't be notified that you left.

- When you leave a group chat on WhatsApp, only the group admin(s) will be notified.

Click the group chat you want to leave. You'll see a list of recent messages from newest to oldest. -
Click the group name. This is at the top. -
Click the "leave" icon. This looks like a red rectangle with a left-pointing arrow. -
Click Exit . You'll leave the group chat.
