  3. You should already see your country's dialing code in the "Region" blank, so just enter your phone number into the provided blank.
    • If you don't know which phone number to enter, you can sign in with your username or email address. Click Log in via WeChat ID/Email/QQ ID , enter your login details, and then tap Log in to sign in.
    • If you don't remember any of your login info, tap Unable to Log in? at the bottom of the screen, then follow the on-screen instructions to recover info.
  4. It's the green button at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Choose this option if you want to sign in by having a sign-in code sent to your phone number.
  6. A confirmation message will appear.
  7. WeChat will now send a login code to your phone number.

  1. Go to https://www.wechat.com in your web browser. This opens a screen with some app download options.
    • Make sure your phone or tablet with WeChat installed is nearby. You'll need it to validate your login.
  2. This is optional, as you can also use a full-featured version of WeChat in your web browser. If you want to use the web version, skip to the next step. Otherwise, follow these steps to install the app:
    • Mac:
      • Open the App Store

      • Type wechat into the "Search" bar and press Return .
      • Click GET next to WeChat. It's the app with two overlapping chat bubbles (green and gray).

      • Press Ctrl + J to open your downloads.
