To brew a Potion of Invisibility in Minecraft, use a brewing stand to combine a Potion of Night Vision and a Fermented Spider Eye. To craft a Potion of Night Vision, you'll need Blaze Powder, 1 Nether Wart, 1 Golden Carrot, and 1 Water Bottle.

  1. A brewing stand is a block used for making potions.
    • If you don't have a brewing stand, you can find one within end ships, the basement of igloos, and in village churches. [1]
  2. You'll need Blaze Powder, 1 Nether Wart, 1 Golden Carrot, and 1 Water Bottle. You can craft Blaze Powder with 2 Blaze Rods. Once you have the ingredients, do the following:
    • Place Blaze Powder in the box on the left side.
    • Place the Water Bottle in one of the three squares on the bottom row.
    • Place the Nether Wart in the box at the top, below Brewing Stand .
    • Place the Golden Carrot in the same box at the top.
    • Place the finished Potion of Night Vision in your inventory.

  3. This is the box on the left side of the Brewing Stand menu.
  4. This can go in any of the three squares on the bottom row.
  5. This goes in the box at the top, below Brewing Stand .
    • To craft a Fermented Spider Eye, combine 1 Brown Mushroom, 1 Sugar, and 1 Spider Eye at a crafting table .
  6. The potion can now be used on yourself, another player , or mobs .

    • Unaffected by Invisibility:
      • Saddles, armor, and other items that are worn
      • Held items
      • Fire sprites of entities set on fire
