Do you always get tired of waiting for your items to finish smelting while you have two or more items also needing to be smelted and you need to put in fuel every time? Well you can by making an automatic furnace to do it for you!

Quick Steps

  1. Place down your furnace.
  2. Place a hopper on each side of the furnace.
  3. Place a hopper underneath the furnace.
  4. Place a chest the hoppers beside the furnace.
  5. Place fuel in one chest and smelting items in the other.
  6. Find the smelted items in the bottom chest.

    It will depend on which chest you put them in, the hopper on top will be smelted while the one on the side will be fuel.
