Did you know you can make a sticker stay on a moving object in a Snapchat video? You can easily pin a sticker while on the editing screen; just press and hold it to an object! If you want to make a custom sticker, you can use the scissors tool. Here's how to pin stickers to Snapchat videos using your iPhone, iPad, or Android.
Pinning Stickers on Videos in Snapchat
To make a sticker move with an object in a Snapchat video, tap the sticker icon on the preview screen and select a sticker. Tap and hold the sticker, drag it to where you want it pinned, and tap Pin to Snap .
Steps

Record a video on Snapchat. Tap and hold the circle at the bottom of Snapchat to start recording.
- To pin stickers to a video, you'll need to have the video open in the preview screen.
- If you already have a video, you can upload it from your Memories or Camera Roll/Gallery by tapping the two overlapping rectangles icon to the left of the record button.

Tap the sticker you want to use. It will be added to the screen.

- The video will pause behind the sticker.
- If the video doesn't pause, release the sticker. Then, tap and hold the sticker again.

Drag the sticker to where you want it pinned. You can pin the sticker to a moving or stationary object.
- If needed, make the sticker bigger by pinching outwards or smaller by pinching inwards.

Tap Pin to Snap . This is the second option in the pop-up menu above the sticker. The video will resume, and the sticker will follow the object it's pinned to.
- If you only want the sticker to be pinned for a few seconds rather than the whole video, tap Set Duration . Drag the beginning or end marks to crop the duration. Then, tap the yellow checkmark icon.
- To remove the sticker, tap and drag it to the trash can icon at the bottom of the screen.

Send or save the video. Tap Send To to share with your friends or Story . Tap the down-arrow icon to save the video to your device.

Create a Snap. Use the center button to take a Snap picture or video. You'll need to be on the Preview screen to create a sticker. Alternatively, tap the Memories icon to upload a photo from your gallery or Camera Roll.
- You can create your own sticker using the scissors tool. The new sticker will automatically save in your sticker drawer.

Tap the scissors icon. This is on the right side of the screen, next to the other editing options.

Use your finger to outline the object. In some cases, Snapchat may pull an object automatically based on its clarity. If you see the object you want, tap it to add it.
- The new sticker will be added on top of your Snap and automatically added to your sticker drawer.
- To use the sticker on another Snap, tap X to close the current Snap, and then create a new one. Tap the sticker icon on the right side of the preview screen, and then tap the scissors icon to find your new sticker.
