The number one thing is to wear something that's authentically you so you can feel confident. Then that will really shine through! If you don't feel comfortable in a two-piece, a one-piece is just fine. You can also try pairing your bathing suit with a maxi dress and sandal wedges, or covering up with a long kimono or long-wrap. Feel free to accessorize with a wider-brim hat, hoop earrings, or cool bangle bracelets too.

It's really not a big deal. It's the same as always, in any other situation: you defend your boundaries and when anyone's behavior crosses a line, you point that out to the person. You should wear what you want to wear and not care about who will look at you. Sure, people like to look, and pools are especially places where you can see a lot of skin. And it really is OK to look, until it gets awkward. And when it does, you point that out. But that's the other person's behavior, and never your fault. Bring an extra towel, wrap that around you before and after you swim, or wear a shirt over your swimsuit. But I wouldn't worry too much; try to enjoy yourself.
