    Expert Answer
The best instructor is playing the game. It's definitely great to know the concepts, but you have to play. Make sure to get hours and hours of practice and touches on the ball. Another thing that I recommend is watching videos of your soccer playing to get a different perspective. When you watch your playing on video, you can pause it and dissect the movements or the game. This can really help you understand the game as well.

To become the best attacking midfielder will take some very hard work. You always have enough time! Not having enough time is just another excuse for players who don't want to become the best. Honestly, if you don't have the time, just don't play the sport, it seems you have better things to do. If you don't have the time, then it's just a hobby to you.
  • Question
How long does it take to become a great soccer player?
    Jacob
    Community Answer
It really depends on how willing you are to practice. If you practice constantly, then you're talking a good year or two at max. But, it varies from person to person. It took me 3 years to figure out how to be an average soccer player. I've joined a soccer club recently to hone in on my skills because I need to get better with being ambidextrous (not every soccer player has this ability, but it's good to start now.) If you work on juggling, trapping, using in-step and out-step, kick well with one foot for a while until you feel confident, than switch to the other, then you'll be a great soccer player.
