In your undergraduate years, work towards a bachelors degree in any subject and keep your grades to approximately 3.5. Also, take summer internships at law firms or local governments which can help you gain first hand experience with legal work and increases your odds of acceptance into law school. After you finish your undergrad, you will have to take the LSAT and get 150 to get accepted into law school. Following acceptance into law school, it will take 3 years to prepare you for a legal career. After graduation from law school, take your state bar exam to begin your legal career.
