You can't, they do this for security reasons. If it is really vital, then you might be able to contact support , but you probably will have to wait 12 hours.

How do you change the phone number associated with your account?

In order to add or change a phone number, you'll need to be able to log in to your account. Log into the Yahoo! homepage, then open your Account Info page (see the first method). Click "Account security," then click "Phone numbers." Enter the phone number you want to use, then enter the code you receive via text to confirm it. You cannot change or edit the phone number if you don't know your password.
