QuestionI am having trouble connecting to my selected Time Capsule, what must I do?Fit PrintersCommunity AnswerMake that your Mac is securely linked to your backup drive, powered on, and plugged in. Make sure your Mac is connected to the network as well as your backup drive if it is located on a network. You will not have access to your backup drive if the network is having issues. Download and apply all current macOS upgrades. Update your Time Capsule with the most recent firmware and software if you have one. See Update your Mac regularly, and read the Apple Support article. Your AirPort base station's firmware has to be updated. Your current backups are not upgraded if you upgraded to macOS Monterey. Only macOS Big Sur or later can use newly made backups.
