  • Question
If I add photos of my life, everybody will recognize me, and if I use an email, can't my IP address be tracked?
    Community Answer
Not really. Your photos don't have to include family, friends, popular places nearby your area, or you. Some people even take pictures of themselves in masks or customes for fun, or obscure, artsy pictures in which not much of their face can be seen. Your IP, however, could be tracked.

  • Question
How do I know if someone has a fake Facebook account?
    Community Answer
There are a few ways that you can tell if an account is fake. This article gave hints about how to not make a fake account obvious, and you could just use those in the opposite way: if the account gives away anything that this article says not to do, then it might be fake. If there is another account out there that is very similar, then you might have a lazy person on your hands, which means that they aren't very capable of or interested in making it that different from their main one. If things get to a point of suspicion that it might be fake, you could always look into it and see if there's anything else that will give it away.
  • Question
Can I use someone's Instagram photos for my fake Facebook profile?
    Community Answer
Instagram is owned by Facebook now, which means if you use a photo sourced from Instagram, they'll easily know where the original came from. The same is true of random photos pulled from a web search - Facebook is very pervasive and their AI can and likely does do its own pattern match search for face pictures you upload, and match the originals, thus exposing your account's fakeness. And they will probably hassle you for further verifications. The way to get photos for your fake account is to take them yourself. Be sure geotagging is off on your phone's camera settings, otherwise the photo will tell Facebook where you were when you took it.
