    Expert Answer
If there was some kind of extenuating circumstance, it may be reasonable to ask for an extension. If you just totally blew it off though, it's not going to be a good look. It may be okay to ask for an extension like this once, but you really don't want to make this a habit.
  • Question
If I have to complete a math booklet, should I finish it all in one day, or can I work on it over the course of several days?
    Community Answer
You should work on it over the course of several days. Depending on how many pages you have to complete, plan on doing 2 to 5 pages each day. Remember to give yourself breaks too; if you try to do everything all at once, you will overload your mind with information, and you won't remember the things you learned.
  • Question
How can I balance out a project that requires online research, a draft, and a final typed copy?
    Community Answer
Start with the research and organizer the first few days. Then focus on the draft, and finish with the final copy. Each portion should take 1-2 days to complete if you really focus, although the research might take longer depending on the topic.
  • Question
I have to go for a long holiday. What do I do?
    Community Answer
Bring all your homework with you or try to get the homework beforehand so you can fully enjoy your trip.
  • Question
Should I try to do at least 5 or 6 questions each day?
    Community Answer
One good way to determine how many questions to do each day is to divide the number of questions by days of vacation. For example, if you have 25 questions to complete and five vacation days, you could do 5 each day to complete the homework on time.
  • Question
I have a lot of homework, in many subjects, due in three months. What's the best way to approach this workload?
    Community Answer
To begin with, make a schedule for yourself. Take a look at each subject and break down the work into smaller increments or tasks. Divide the tasks by the number of weeks you have and that should give you a guideline for what to complete each week in each subject. Give yourself some time off around each holiday and try to minimize your stress. You're ahead of the game by planning ahead!
  • Question
How do I make a model of the Earth?
    Community Answer
Get a Styrofoam ball and some acrylic paint. Paint the continents in green and surround them with blue for the oceans. If you want, you can put a bamboo skewer through it so it's easy to hold.
  • Question
How can I make my holiday homework creative?
    Community Answer
Do your homework on the first three days and then you can have fun. You must manage your time.
  • Question
How do I quickly finish a lot of homework if I have a lot of it to do?
    Community Answer
Don’t rush it. Try to plan out your time so that you balance out work and fun. For instance, if you have to complete an essay, try and do it during free time, i.e time you’d spend watching TV or napping. Another solution is to prioritise: complete all the harder work first (or when your mind is sharp) and do the easier work last!
