  • Question
How do I install version 45?
    Evan Thomas
    Community Answer
If it is supported on your device, then the Firefox installer will say there's a new update. Press "Install." If it doesn't work, it's probably not supported on your device, you already have it, or you need to reinstall Firefox.
  • Question
Can I have both Mozilla and Chrome on my PC?
    Community Answer
Yes. Firefox and Chrome are separate from each other, and having one will not affect the other.
  • Question
Can I have both Microsoft Edge and Firefox?
    Community Answer
Yes. Both are separate apps and most computers and devices will allow you to have both at the same time. If not, select the one you most prefer.

I can download Firefox to my Android device but it does not install and does not put an icon at home. I don't know how to find the Mozilla app on the phone to run settings or install. Suggestions?

Open the All Apps option. You'll find a Firefox somewhere there. If not, open it using the Settings app. If that doesn't work, use the "Open" button on the Play Store app.

It's very likely your system does have another browser installed, such as Internet Explorer, Edge, or Safari. Use one of those to download Firefox again. Alternatively, Windows and macOS have stores where you can download browsers (for free). Linux distributions have software repositories which serve a similar purpose. If all else fails, you can use a terminal or PowerShell window to download with curl. curl "download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-latest&os=win" Substitute "linux", "linux64", or "osx" when using Linux or macOS.
