Use your accessories to add a personal touch to winter wear. Accessories are a great way to have fun in the winter. Try wearing a beautiful pair of gloves, a great hat or beret, or a colorful scarf with a full-length coat or an all-black outfit.

As many as you need to feel warm! The thicker your layers, the fewer you'll need to wear. However, it's a good idea to wear a few thin layers in case you get warm while you're indoors.
  • Question
How do I dress like winter in the summer?
    Community Answer
You can still wear boots and layers, just try to find fabrics made of thinner material to keep you cool in warmer weather. Tights, leggings, joggers, etc. can be worn pretty much any time of year.
  • Question
Are Uggs suitable to wear in snow?
    Moonmodule1998
    Top Answerer
No, not really. They won't stop your feet from getting wet and the material doesn't tend to do well in snow, ice, or rain. However, Ugg has released "all-weather" boots, so you might consider checking those out.
  • Question
What kinds of pants would girls wear in the winter? Leggings/yoga pants are too thin, but sweatpants aren't suitable either.
    Community Answer
You can always wear jeans or cargo pants! Jeans are especially awesome because there are a lot of styles out there - flared, bootcut, skinny, etc.
  • Question
I hate the feeling of layers, it’s really itchy! What can I do?

Winter fabrics such as wool cause discomfort for a lot of people. Try wearing layers made from materials such as thick cotton, fleece or jersey. Alternatively, if it is the sensation of wearing lots of clothes that irks you, stick to one or two garments in a thick material to keep you warm, such as a winter coat and cosy sweater and don't wear anything constricting.
  • Question
What do I wear to the Nutcracker ballet?
    Otterly Badgerific
    Top Answerer
It would be a good idea to wear layers so that you can keep warm on the way to the ballet and when going home, but not feel too hot in the theater. Wear an overcoat which can be left in the coat check, and a jacket or dressy sweater with either pants or a knee-length or maxi skirt. Or, you might prefer wearing a dress or a pants suit. Keep the style dressy casual or even err on the side of more dressed up than usual. After all, it's a special occasion!
  • Question
I hate looking bulky and snow getting up my pants what can I do prevent that from happening?
    Community Answer
Wear base layers that are skin tight. You can get some that match outfits or leg warmers - they keep your legs warm.
