QuestionHow long is the average time to EV train one Pokemon?EditorKrijimCommunity AnswerIt depends on what you battle to get EVs, what items you use, and whether or not you have Pokerus on your game. Just by battling in S.O.S battles in Sun and Moon without items, it can take a few hours; with items and Pokerus, that amount of time will be cut to less than half an hour.

QuestionI don't really understand the whole max EV points being 510, because I have plenty of Pokemon with at least 600 points if you add up all their stats. Am I not supposed to count HP?Acebob11Community AnswerEVs do not equate to stats. In a level 100 pokemon, 4 EVs will increase a stat by 1 point, but even still, Pokemon have different base stats. It is also important to consider the difference between IVs and EVs - IVs cannot be affected, EVs can be trained up and reset, and base stats are a base for a Pokemon's stats. Leveling up also affects stats. It's very complicated how all of it works, but for your final question, yes, you count HP. It is a stat.

QuestionIs there an item that increases speed? All the power items are set to increase every stat except speed.NerfLoverNumber14Community AnswerYou must be confused how the power items work. They halve the speed of a Pokémon in battle. But after the battle, the Pokémon holding the item gains 4 EVs in the corresponding stat. And there is the Power Anklet, which halves speed in battle but gives 4 EVs in speed after the battle.

QuestionWhat's the best level to give Pokemon vitamins?Acebob11Community AnswerThere is no best level. EVs will affect your pokemon's stats, and they affect them more at higher levels. Vitamins will cause a jump in your Pokemon's stats at level 100, but if you give it at level one, when it levels up, it will gain slightly more, so there is no best level.

QuestionCan I do this with a MissingNo?Bun bunTop AnswererMissingNo has glitches stats, so EV training it probably wouldn't work.
-
QuestionDoes hyper training work the best for EV training?EditorKrijimCommunity AnswerHyper training isn't a method of EV training, but a method of giving superficial boosts to stats to make it seem like the Pokémon had top IVs.
-
QuestionAre wings in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?Bun bunTop AnswererNo. The means of air transport in ORAS is either by Latios/Latias or on a Pokémon that learns Fly.
-
QuestionWhat are the Pokémon I can EV train?NerfLoverNumber14Community AnswerYou can EV train any Pokémon. It doesn't matter what species they are or what level they are.
-
QuestionWhat are the best EVs for my Pokémon? How am I supposed to know?NerfLoverNumber14Community AnswerIt really depends on the Pokémon and what role it is. For example, sweepers should have attack/special attack and speed EVs maxed, while more defensive Pokémon should have defense/special defense EVs maxed. It is best to max an EV of the Pokémon's best stats.

QuestionIf the max EV is 510, does that mean that if I total the stats of two hypothetical lvl 100 Metagross, they'll be the same?Blubb lé BlubbCommunity AnswerIf they also have the same nature and IV, then yes. If not, then no. It is extremely rare that two Pokemon have the same IVs. (IVs are another big part of training competitive Pokemon, so read up on that.)

QuestionIn Pokemon Y, I'm getting my stats up by super training. Does that count?Blubb lé BlubbCommunity AnswerYes, super training also grants EV points.
