QuestionWhat is the best way to add shine to thick, rough hair?Community AnswerAfter rinsing with apple cider vinegar, lightly message sesame oil on wet hair and use a 100% cotton t-shirt to dry your hair. Lightly saturate hair with a heat protectant, oil based product, before blow drying on medium heat. After blow drying, add a dap of heat protectant oil and sesame oil to a small section of hair from roots to ends. Run a flat iron (not too hot) slowly all the way down the sectioned strands of hair. *Only do small sections of hair until entire head of hair has been flat ironed. Section hair and roll with large sponge rollers for an hour. Remove rollers and wrap your hair with silk scarf overnight. The next morning after your shower, remove the scarf and comb out your hair. Style as usual.
