I installed a new door, it's sticking out on the top corner of the latch side, how do I fix that?

If it's plumb, you can build out the wall, or plane the corner down, or sand or plane the back of the door trim to conform to the wall.

What if the top is tight and the bottom has a gap?

Then you need to fix both. Plane, chisel, or cut the top so it's loose and shim the bottom. It's imperative that the door gap is even all the way around.

What if the door frame is not flush with the wall?

Plane the jamb/frame down or rabbit-out the back of the door's trim. You may also add a spline to the back outside edge of the door's trim so it sits flat on the wall.
