I have a china set made by Smith and Smith. It is dated 1954, and the pattern is called Conversation. It is trimmed with 24 carat gold leaf. Can you give me any information about my set? I haven't been able to find anything to compare it to.

If you go to Replacements.com that can be a great place to find the retail values of individual pieces in your collection. I believe you have a set produced by Taylor Smith & Taylor in the conversation shape series, but I wasn't able to find your specific pattern there just based off it having a gold rim, but if you search "Taylor Smith and Taylor Conversation" on that website, then a bunch of results will be pulled up and you can scroll though those till you find your pattern. And if you click on it, you will get an expanded page of information.
